Once again at Doncaster, a group of specially-trained camels will be racing at Doncaster on Friday. Camel racing is a huge sport in the Middle East and is becoming increasingly popular in Britain.
The camel racing takes place before the first race on Friday and is part of the Simpson Millar Raceday, a seven-race programme which gets under way at 2.20pm.
Racegoers will be able to get up close and ‘meet’ the camels and chat to the handlers in the Frenchgate Family Enclosure.
Giant screens will enable racegoers to see all the action.
